Urban
Inspired by the streets of Tokyo, “Urban” is an indigo batik infinity scarf made of silk habotai and measures approximately 21”x76” circle. I hand painted the silk with a wax-resist and dipped multiple times in indigo dye. Finally, the wax is removed from the fabric, either through boiling and ironing, to reveal the complete surface design. Each piece is handmade and unique.
